Now Hiring Housing Systems Specialist

The Housing Systems Specialist will work directly with member programs to ensure that all survivors of domestic violence who are experiencing a housing crisis have access to housing resources through their local coordinated entry system. This position will provide training and technical assistance to member programs and community partners regarding, for example, coordinated entry, public housing authority engagement and DV shelter best practices, and work with each agency to address their specific needs and concerns regarding housing systems. The Housing Systems Specialist will also work to improve relationships among domestic violence providers and local mainstream housing/homeless service providers throughout the Commonwealth, so the complex needs of survivors are better served across systems. 

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000

Essential Functions

Supervisory Responsibilities

Although there are no direct supervisory responsibilities, this position assists the fiscal coordinator and the community engagement specialist in their responsibilities. 

Education and/or Experience 

Bachelor’s degree with two years recent relevant experience or five years recent relevant experience is required. Prior experience working in a domestic violence program or housing program is strongly preferred.

Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
