We seek a committed and compassionate Housing Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in securing safe and stable housing and providing support, resources, and guidance to empower survivors in their journey towards independence.
Position Overview
The Housing Manager is a key manager role overseeing transitional housing programs, including Rapid Rehousing, PHARE assistance, and relocation services, ensuring that services align with legal, regulatory, and funding requirements. This position directly supports clients facing housing instability due to victimization, helping them achieve safety and permanent housing through individualized plans, safety planning, and self-sufficiency goals. The Housing Manager collaborates closely with clients and community agencies to provide trauma-informed, client-centered services while balancing administrative responsibilities such as compliance, data management, and reporting for funders. Additionally, the role involves supervising staff, contributing to the organization’s mission, and demonstrating leadership, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in human services is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.
- Candidates must have at least three years’ experience in housing/homelessness direct service provision, program administration, and analysis.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Relevant work experiences are respected.
- Candidates must have a strong passion for our mission.
