SafeNet is a well-established local non-profit organization that has retained Decision Associates to assist them in their search for a highly qualified Executive Director. Serving as Erie County’s only accredited domestic violence agency, SafeNet has been providing services to victims of domestic violence for over 45 years. These services include emergency shelter, counseling and advocacy, legal representation, children’s programs, education and training, and transitional housing. SafeNet is committed to ending domestic violence through the administration of these services and allowing their clients to reclaim their lives after domestic violence. The team at SafeNet believes that every individual has the right to be respected and to live a life free from abuse.
SafeNet is searching for a dedicated, high-energy individual with a passion for addressing their service areas in Erie County through an entrepreneurial approach. Experience in leading a non-profit organization; development and fund-raising experience; grant writing; budget management; media relations and demonstrated experience in partnering and collaborating with government entities are all important credentials to bring to this role. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with an engaged Board of Directors to enhance the services offered by SafeNet while providing a vision for the future, building consensus among the board, and instilling trust, confidence, and a sense of integrity among all constituents. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of 10 years progressive mid-and senior-level organizational management experience, preferably in a non-profit environment. This position offers excellent compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
