We are hiring for the following Violence Intervention & Prevention Career Opportunity:

Evening Shelter Advocate (Dauphin)

The Evening Shelter Advocate will provide case management and support to victims residing in the domestic violence shelter. This position will also provide crisis response and other empowerment-based services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Hours for this position are Tuesday-Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently, utilize sound judgment, respond to crisis situations in a professional manner, and balance numerous priorities and tasks at one time. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in crisis intervention is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and prior related work experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving history, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance along with FBI, criminal, and child abuse clearances.
