Now Hiring Counselor/Advocate

This is a job listing for Women's Resources of Monroe County

 Full Time (37.5 hour/week) 

Established non-profit, human service organization seeks outcomes-driven, positive individuals with a passion for providing counseling and advocacy services on behalf of victims/survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse. 

Services are provided in our main office, satellite locations, and in other community settings. This position is responsible for providing crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, advocacy, and accompaniment, and outreach/awareness to victims/survivors of domestic/sexual assault. 

Successful applicants will possess experience and documented achievements in crisis work with adults and children, and be open to flexible work schedules. Reliable transportation required. Local travel required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field required, Master’s preferred, additional life experience respected. Must complete 70-hour counselor/advocate required training.
