Anti-Human Trafficking Project Coordinator

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg, a leading provider of human trafficking services in Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time dynamic and outgoing individual to help facilitate its anti-human trafficking project, PAATH15. PAATH15 is a 12-county collaborative project covering 8,400 sq. miles in PA, focused on enhancing victim services, inter-agency collaboration, along with training and awareness of trafficking along Route 15 in PA. The Anti-Human Trafficking Project Coordinator will work directly with the YWCA’s PAATH15 project, serving as the project liaison between sun-grantees and community partners.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Project Coordinator will collect, organize, and record data for all project activities to assess and report on project and goal progress; screen potential clients to determine program eligibility; provide crisis response and advocacy services to all victims served under the project as needed; provide outreach, awareness and technical assistance to community agencies; develop and maintain collaborations and networks within the community to improve responses to human trafficking; and assist with implementing and analyzing action research related to the quality of victim services provided, recommending action plans for improvements.

The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or related field plus two years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred. Experience working with victims of crime required; human trafficking experience preferred; prior project coordination or project management experience; prior experience in law enforcement, legal systems, probation/parole, or legal services preferred. Other qualifications include – excellent public speaking and communication skills (both verbal and written); professional demeanor; ability to multi-task and function with minimal supervision. Willing to work non-traditional hours. Knowledge of human trafficking victimization and local resources required.
