The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is requesting a grant of approximately $1.5 million through Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding administered by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
This grant will support statewide emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and rapid rehousing activities that serve domestic violence survivors. Funds will be distributed statewide to PCADV’s direct service member programs participating as subrecipients in this application with approval by their local governing bodies.

The Emergency Solutions Grant Program was authorized by the Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing Act of 2009 (HEARTH) enacted into law on May 20, 2009.
PCADV was previously awarded approximately $6.25 million through the Emergency Solutions Grant-CARES ACT (ESG-CV) program in April 2021. To date, this funding has served more than 1,800 domestic violence survivors and supported more than 1,500 households.
