The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is requesting a grant of approximately $6.25 million through Emergency Solutions – CARES Act funding administered by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
This grant will support statewide homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities that primarily serve domestic violence survivors and mitigate the disproportionate impacts created by COVID-19. Funds will be distributed statewide to PCADV’s direct service member programs participating as subrecipients in this application pending approval by their local governing bodies.
PCADV increased the request beyond the $4.75 million initially announced in response to the significant need expressed by direct service member programs.
