July 10, 2024

The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is pleased to announce its grantees for domestic violence core services and Civil Legal Representation (CLR) funding effective July 1, 2024. Two competitive Request for Proposals (RFPs) were issued on February 19, 2024. Funding is for a two-year period, from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026.

A panel of independent reviewers reviewed competitive proposals and selected grantees based on scoring rubric outcomes.

Core Services

Funds are used to support access to services and shelter to adult and child survivors of domestic violence. This includes 24-hour hotline services, safety planning, counseling and support, legal advocacy and accompaniment, transportation, emergency shelter, public education, prevention, training, and systems advocacy.

Fifty-nine applicants were selected for Core Services.

Civil Legal Representation (CLR) Initiative

Funding for CLR will support the provision of free legal services to victims of domestic violence by attorneys who understand how domestic violence precludes many victims from receiving equitable access to the justice system and the powerful and lifesaving resources it has to offer. CLR programs operate to increase the availability of expert representation for victims, which will serve to save lives and promote self-sufficiency among victims.

Sixteen applicants were selected for CLR initiatives.
