About Alice Paul House
Alice Paul House is a comprehensive victim service program located in Indiana, PA. We provide services to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, other crimes, and juvenile offenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention, accompaniment, and advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, all crimes and victims of juvenile offenders as well as significant others
- Trauma-focused empowerment individual and group counseling/advocacy
- Complete daily crisis card tracking and monthly statistics
- Greet clients and visitors, respond to inquiries, and direct them to appropriate staff or services.
- Manage and maintain filing systems (electronic and paper-based), including confidential client records.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for staff.
- Prepare reports, letters, memos, and other documents as requested.
- Enter and maintain data in case management systems and databases.
- Assist with intake processes by collecting and organizing client documentation.
- Assist Fiscal Department with tracking and ordering office supplies and materials needed for daily operations.
- Support the preparation and submission of grant applications and reports.
- Provide administrative assistance in organizing community outreach events or program activities.
- Assist Fiscal Department with incoming and outgoing mail, email, and phone communication.
- This position directly supports management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in human services, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous administrative or office support experience, preferably in a nonprofit or social services setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Compassionate, client-focused, and culturally sensitive.
