HARRISBURG, Pa., (September 6, 2019) — The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) announces that the YWCA Hanover has been selected to provide domestic violence services in Adams County.

PCADV initiated a Request for Proposals following the abrupt closure in June of Survivors Inc., the longtime provider of domestic violence services in Adams County. Adding, “YWCA Hanover is an established social services agency already serving clients from York and Adams Counties. We believe they are well-equipped to quickly expand capacity to provide quality, trauma-informed services to victims and survivors of domestic violence in Adams County.”

YWCA Hanover will receive from PCADV, a total of $230,777 to fund core domestic violence services for the nine months of October 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. After June 30, 2020, funding will increase to $307,703 per year for the remainder of the contract period through June 30, 2022.
