We are hiring for the following Violence Intervention & Prevention Career Opportunity:

Shelter Advocate (Perry)
The Shelter Advocate will provide case management, weekly house meetings, and support to victims of crime residing in the shelter. Hours for this position are Sunday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently, utilize sound judgment, respond to crisis situations in a professional manner, and balance numerous priorities and tasks at one time. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in crisis intervention is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and prior related work experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving history, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance along with FBI, criminal, and child abuse clearances.
