Essential Duties & Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Hire, train, develop, evaluate, and supervise staff, volunteers, and interns in the Case Management Services Department.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and guidance to all case managers to support client needs and service plan-related goals.
- Ensure appropriate coverage is always maintained to meet the needs of the department and fills in when department personnel is unavailable or otherwise unable to complete their duties.
- Periodically evaluates and audits services that case managers are providing to ensure they meet the standards of quality, trauma-informed case management, and ensures records are maintained in accordance with agency standards.
- Ensures compliance with regulations and standards including regular monitoring of case notes and client files, including participation in monitoring visits from funders.
- Ensure that individual clients and families have the resources and support from the community needed to feel less isolated.
- Participate in staff meetings, director’s meetings, agency events, ongoing development meetings/trainings, and work with partner agencies to identify additional available programming.
- Responsible for the completion and submission of required reports and other written documents in a timely manner.
- Responsible for facilitating the Community Resources training as part of the agency’s Advocate training program.
- All other duties as determined by the supervisor.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
Employment Experience (amount and kind)
- 3 – 5 years of experience working in the social services field; preferably working with children and families
- 2+ years of supervisory experience required
Education (general level required or specific courses)
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred; degree can be substituted for equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required

- Completion of a background check request; FBI, State Police, and Child Abuse Clearances obtained within required timeframe under Act 153 through agency vendor
- Completion of 66-hour Sexual and Domestic Violence Training provided by agency
- Valid driver’s license and insurance are required to travel to client sites
