We have an immediate need for a part-time/floater Client Services Representative to oversee the main reception areas within the emergency shelter. As a Floater, the CSR will provide coverage for all shifts so the hours for this position will vary according to departmental needs. Flexibility is a MUST. Primary responsibilities include greeting all visitors and assisting them directly or connecting them with appropriate staff, operating a multi-line phone system to manage incoming calls; including domestic violence/sexual assault hotline calls, and operating and monitoring security systems (cameras and doors) to ensure the safety and security of staff and residents.

Qualifications include a minimum of high school diploma or GED PLUS two years of related experience; demonstrated de-escalation and problem-solving skills to assist staff in handling a variety of situations, the ability to respond calmly and professionally to crisis calls and/or walk-ins; a sensitivity to various cultures, ethnic and social groups and the ability to actively listen and communicate with clients. Bilingual is a PLUS. Position requires criminal, child abuse and FBI clearances. Selected candidate will be required to complete sexual assault/domestic violence online training.
