Now Hiring Children’s Counselor/Advocate (Full-Time)

Established non-profit, human service organization seeks outcomes driven, positive individuals with a passion for providing counseling and advocacy for victims/survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence.

The Children’s Counselor/Advocate is responsible for providing crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, advocacy, and accompaniment on behalf of teen and child victims/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.

Successful applicant will provide services for victims at various locations throughout Monroe county. Applicant should possess experience in crisis work, openness to flexible work schedules, ability to manage crisis with adults and children, and enthusiasm for the field of victim services.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field required, Master’s degree preferred. Work experience respected. Must complete 70-hour counselor/advocate required training.
