The Power to Heal: 2023 iPledge Campaign

October 11, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Women Against Abuse’s annual iPledge® Campaign press conference launches Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Philadelphia! iPledge® calls on everyday Philadelphians to take a stand against relationship violence. This year’s campaign, The Power to Heal, will amplify the intersection of domestic violence and gun violence and the impact it has on our entire community. iPledge® draws approximately 150 local and state elected officials, advocates, and community members in a powerful statement of support.

  • Dr. Argie Allen-Wilson, a renowned relationship therapist, author, and national media personality, will serve as our host!
  • We are thrilled to honor Lorina Marshall-Blake, President of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation, as our 2023 Social Impact Awardee for her legacy of creating a healthier, safer Philadelphia.
  • A survivor speaker will share their story to remind us of why we take a stand. The event also includes a resource fair featuring community partners serving those affected by domestic violence and gun violence in Philadelphia.
