Policy PrioritiesThe Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) welcomed the opportunity in November 2008 to provide an informational briefing to the House Judiciary Committee on key policy and legislative issues that have been prioritized by our statewide network of domestic violence programs. We´ve made great strides in Pennsylvania in responding to crime of domestic violence and in improving the options and services available to those who suffer behind closed doors of our communities. However, as we are all too painfully aware, domestic violence is as complex as it is devastating. That´s why it´s so important to know the facts and to sort out misinformation and misperceptions.
