People often ask me: ‘How can you stand doing the work that you do, year after year?´ My answer is that I couldn´t stand not doing it. Fighting to end domestic violence is crucial, exhausting and inspiring For over two decades, Meg Groff, Esq., has devoted her career to helping survivors of abuse and improving our legal system. In 1983, Meg was involved in the planning stages of a women´s shelter and support network in Mifflin and Juniata counties. In 1989, Meg designed and implemented a coordinated program – that continues today – enabling Bucks County domestic violence victims to receive free legal representation at Protection From Abuse hearings. Meg presented trainings on domestic violence and the Protection From Abuse Act to departments of Probation and Parole in both Bucks and Philadelphia counties.
