I enjoy being an activist ‘warrior.´ We, an alliance of women and men, have united over the obstacles that battered women and their children face and have worked to remove these obstacles. Never undervalue how attractive it is for a human being to know she can emerge from her own life to affect others. Together we can. Linda is the consummate blend of advocate and activist. As an advocate, she has supported individual victims in their pursuit of safety, while also promoting growth and excellence in our programs for more than 30 years. As an activist, she has been a dedicated crusader for laws and services that ensure positive systemic change As our first Executive Director, Linda guided and nurtured this program in its early years, balancing services for battered women with a commitment to empowerment programs. Linda brought to her work the inspiring leadership, vision and compassion that has made our programs and PCADV thrive. | A Tribute to 30 Remarkable WomenIn Celebration of 30 Remarkable Years Working to End Domestic Violence, Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence Pays Tribute to 30 Remarkable Women Making Domestic Violence History.
